Cancellation of Parent Teacher Meetings for Year 8 and Year 12

Please find below updated guidance from the Department of Education regarding indoor gatherings.
The Department’s Guidance for Schools and Educational Settings in Northern Ireland strongly encourages schools to take a cautious approach to the resumption of indoor gatherings, aim to hold events outdoors where possible, and only seek to organise an indoor event where it is considered essential to do so. Therefore, it is recommended that schools proceed with alternative options where possible.
Following this guidance, and through consultation with our Board of Governors, we have made the unfortunate decision to postpone both the Year 8 Parent Teacher Consultation which was due to take place on Tuesday 14th December and the Year 12 Parent Teacher Consultation which was due to take place on Tuesday 7th December. The Head of Years 8 and 12 will be in contact with yourselves in the coming days to confirm alternative arrangements.
