Post-16 Admission

Pupils wishing to return to study at St Columbanus’ College at Post-16 level may choose one of the following two routes:

Option 1:

Students from the existing Year 12 cohort (i.e. those obtaining GCSE results in August 2016) who have achieved 5 GCSEs A* to C are eligible to make application for a place in the College Sixth Form in this progression.

Option 1: A-Levels or equivalent from the range of subjects offered.

Option 2:

Students from the existing Year 12 cohort (i.e. those obtaining GCSE results in August 2016) who have achieved 4 GCSE’s A* to C are eligible to make application for a place in the College Sixth Form to follow this progression

Option 2: 2 A-Levels or equivalent from the range of subjects  offered and, where possible, an enhancement/enrichment course. e.g COPE

 

 

This criteria will be reviewed by Board of Governors and may be adjusted annually.
